We will provide you with adequate information, training, assistance, and feedback to support you in meeting the responsibilities of your position. In accepting this role, you agree to the following: 1. As a volunteer, I understand that I am not an employee of the Library and will not receive compensation for my services. 2. I understand that appointment to a volunteer position is contingent upon the completion and review of a background check. 3. I will abide by the Library’s policies and procedures, and rules. 4. I understand I am a representative of the Library, I will do my best to present a positive image of the Library to all. 5. I will participate in any required orientation or training programs for my volunteer position. 6. I will operate within the scope of the duties associated with my volunteer position. 7. I will inform my supervisor or the Human Resources Manager of any problems or concerns I have regarding my volunteer position. I hereby release the Library and its officers, employees, agents, and representatives from any responsibility for personal injury, including death, and damage to or loss of property, that I may incur while engaging in activities pursuant to this Agreement.
